There is no current way around it. Interaction with the world, its systems, and most all of the people in it requires time-bound communication. Everything is run to a clock, and we have all been trained en masse to organize our lives accordingly.
This is why people party—to forget about the passage of time.
This is why the mind constantly seeks input—to forget about the passage of time.
This is how the mind robs us of real experience—by constantly seeking to distract itself from that which rules it: time.
Why?
If we have first realized that we are not our minds, then once we realize time controls the mind, time’s power over the mind dissipates. This silences the mind, because the framework under which it seeks distraction has been eliminated.
This is not practical in a worldly sense, however. For most, we still need to interact with the world, its systems, and most all of the people in it.
Walking around and informing people that time does not exist calls too much attention to the illusion at hand, kicking the defense mechanisms of sleeping souls into overdrive. Those defense mechanisms trigger thoughts like, “This person is crazy to think time doesn’t exist!” This we can call the logical undermining mechanism. It works by applying falsely derived logic to the statement regarding time’s existence, and fools the consciousness into believing it has arrived at its conclusion with self-evident logic.
Some believe that there exists many unfortunate souls who literally do not even perceive such comments, as they are so extensively programmed as to not even be able to question their reality. This we can call the illegal input mechanism. This works by completely denying perception of comments or input that question the stability of the programmed illusion. Either defense mechanism results in the person who made the comment being entirely ignored.
For obvious reasons, this can become frustrating and tiring, especially if pulled into time-bound mind responses via the ego. The egoic mind wishes to remain the center of attention, and when it is ignored, can alert the emotional system to generate feelings of unworthiness, self-doubt, and fear in order to elicit emotional reaction, thus re-establishing the mind in a dominant position over consciousness. This we can call the emotional distraction mechanism. It works by distracting the consciousness with emotional responses that seek to generate emotional reactions which serve only to pull people out of the now and into distorted past and future timelines.
The paradox occurs when one chooses to remain in timelessness and love, and does not respond to the defense mechanisms of others with an egoic response. This seems to result in only speaking when asked something by a sleeping soul, as this is the only time their receptivity is sensitized enough that they may actually receive the information without interference. This also conserves one’s output of energy, as speaking into a perceptual void only transfers energy to the defense mechanisms, slowly draining you.
In other words, the true message has a greater chance of shining light in a dark system if the sleeping soul is asking the question. Asking a question automatically implies seeking an answer, establishing a willingness to receive new information.
Of course, the confirmation bias mechanism can interfere with the questions asked by a sleeping soul. This works by generating questions that only seek to confirm a programmed belief and to disregard any information to the contrary. Indeed, most all defense mechanisms are actually variations on a theme of the confirmation bias mechanism, which functions as a set of blinders resulting in tunnel vision of one’s perception of reality.
This clever mechanism can unfortunately fool a waking soul into believing its output is being received by the sleeping soul, which can then result in an ambush by the emotional distraction mechanism. This catches one off-guard, and can result in unwanted error or undesirable time-bound responses, which require later correction.
All of this serves to entangle us to time once again, to fractured bits of selves in other timelines, to de-integrate us and re-descend us into time-bound dependence.
This is why it is said that life is a journey and not a destination, as each day presents situations to test our determination, focus, and ability to remain in the ever-present now. When we have been taught our whole lives to live in and respond from the mind-space, we must show ourselves and others graciousness when we get temporarily get pulled back into the mind-space and fail to respond in love from the heart-space.
Why the heart?
It is the only organ whose purpose is to remind us we are only ever in the now. It must beat constantly in the now in order for life to continue. It is the metronome of our life. Any interruption or pause to its rhythm results in system crashing and potential permanent physical failure. Like the mind, the body cannot live without the heart.
To remain in the now, we must seek to make the heart’s pull greater than the mind’s pull, and follow the heart’s pull regardless of who or what we are facing. We can accomplish this by remaining observers to our bodies, minds, emotions, and interactions, viewing all of this from the infinite space of love.
